This place was so interesting. You walk into a little book store and the wall opens up into a Bar. They only serve IPA'S not a fan but tried a couple, pretty good. People just weren't my kind of crowd. Snobbish and unfriendly. I told a couple jokes and just got shrugs and smirks except for one guy who cracked up and got in trouble with his girlfriend ?. Bartender said it wasn't really my kind of bar and asked me to leave because they started arguing with each other. The coolest guy there was the security guard who invited me in and showed me around giving me a little tour. Friendly guy. Still worth a visit because there is a lot to see there. Different shops and restaurants and the whole place is made out of shipping containers. Live music outside and different things to see. Check it out just keep your sense of humor to yourself haha.

Really cool spot. Lots of room downstairs but not a lot of seating. There’s really only one big table and some little couches or other spots for smaller groups so if there are more than 2 bigger groups, you’ll have to stand. The upstairs was roped off on a Friday night when we visited and they didn’t have their advertised food menu operating that night either. Which was kind of a bummer because we got excited about what was on it.

Been coming here since it opened, and I don’t go really anywhere else mostly because of the general atmosphere. And the people. The staff here is the best and not like any other bar (especially in Utah county). The GM (Ed is his name) is a super good dude and extremely active and present with everything going on there. I bring all of my clients here from out of town!

Best place on earth Baylie is the best bartender in Utah. I’ve never met a bartender that was so attentive on both customer service and making sure people are safe. Other wise this place has a cool vibe and people should visit!

This place would be perfect if they turned the music down like 30%. Way too loud for such a small place. Everything else is a good time.

This place has the atmosphere of a real 1920s-1930s speakeasy. I'm very sure that it is quite lively at times. However, a Friday late afternoon is not that time.

My only disappointment was the fact that, despite the advertising alluding to it, it is not hidden at all. We had the impression that you had to find your way through an industrial area looking for the entrance and supply the password. This was not the case. The door was in plain sight and I'm not sure if they actually require the password or not.

After we got in, we were informed that they do not serve food anymore. The choices are only drinks and chips & salsa. After about an hour, another couple showed up and attempted to order some dinner. They were also disappointed to be informed that they don't serve food anymore. As we were leaving, another couple was on their way in.

I'm sure it would have been a 5-star rating from me had we not been expecting food to be available. I urge management to update their advertising or, at the very least, put a sign on the door informing people that chips & salsa is the only food choice.

I really hate to rant about this place because I want to keep it low on the radar and all to myself and a few others.
Great Straptank beers, free pool, free darts, and a few other games to play with friends, all free.
