Visited on a Saturday night. Sign said walk in through open door. Would have liked to be directed to walk through the bookcase door for charm. Place had maybe 16 people in it. Nice decor. Talented solo Musician playing on stage but sound was loud and took away from the ambience. Service was attentive and quick. Drinks were pretty great. Watermelon margarita 10/10, Goodfellas 10/10, Capone and pineapple mojito just ok. The food was really disappointing. Tzatziki bruschetta with prosciutto 0/10; bread was not crisped, tzatziki was not flavourful and simply looked like runny gob of white, topped with very dry prosciutto that seemed to have been cut days ago. Charcuterie board w/traditional meats cheeses was a miss 1/10; 1 star cause portion was more than decent for price. The meat (salami, pepperoni {never had this on a charc. board}, prosciutto {again tasted old} was cut thick, goat cheese {ok}, 2 other cheeses but one infused with horseradish {odd tasting} and each food had a weird after taste. Come for the drinks but food might be a pass.

This is a well thought up business. They nailed it . Definitely takes you back to the 1920's speakeasy. Beautiful decor bar hidden behind the bookcase upon entering. Live music depending on time of day. Food is great wait staff are super friendly and helpful. Very clean

This is a great place to eat dinner or just have drinks and appetizers. The decor was very nice, the waitress was friendly and the drinks were fantastic! The warm apple slice in the spiked apple cider was so good! We also ordered the pear and ginger-sage: a little too sweet for my taste but really good flavor, the French 75 perfect if you don't like sweet and the black widow which is good if you love tequila! The appetizers we ordered were good, mushrooms, wings that were still crispy 30 minutes later (I arrived late) and bruschetta were all good! For entrees we got the halibut, ribeye steak which was very tender and lobster ravioli with vodka sauce that had a nice kick and for dessert the sweet plantains the caramelized sugar on top made it so good!. This placed satisfied your tastebuds without over filling your stomach, we're definitely going back!

I was kinda confused when I got there for my reservation for five, and the rest of my party was sitting at a four person talble. I talked to the waitress, and it was resolved before our food came out.The place was really nice, but the food wasn't seasoned very well, and the cocktails weren't that good. I may try again.. It could have been just an off night.

Room 33 has raised the bar for downtown dining and sumptuous, prohibition-style cocktails!

They serve libations that are crafted with only the finest, freshest ingredients. Their menu will delight, from the first bite, till the last. Their chef, talented and creative, will tempt you with an ever changing daily entree. Which most often, is the choice I end up indulging in.

The atmosphere, cozy and quaint, is accentuated by great music that still allows conversation with whomever you’re dining with.

Rebecca Styn, the brains behind this speakeasy style lounge/eatery, once again proves, she is a true force to be reckoned with!

Pay attention to this young lady, I have a feeling this is only the beginning of many great things to be added to her list of accomplishments and contributions in Erie and life!

Such a cool place, very unique, food was excellent! Had the butternut squash ravioli, so very good, and husband had the short ribs with garlic mashed potatoes, he said was delicious. Great drinks too!
