Went for a pop up bar and had a very enjoyable time. The food and drinks were good. The decorations were done well, even the ceiling was decorated facilitating the fun atmosphere. Drinks were themed and served with dry ice for effect or fake eyeballs... the only thing that was a bit of a let down was the entertainment. The microphone didn't work well, his songs were difficult to understand...but his enthusiasm carried us thru. Overall, a fun evening out ?

Came to this location for a “Mr. Grinch Christmas Pop-Up”. We paid $30 per person x 4 people so $120 just for seats to sit at the pop up which we thought included a show. None of this included food. When we got there the place was small. It was cute and decorated but nothing like I had expected from photos online. I was very disappointed by the fact that their was not a full menu. The food menu consisted of only 6 bar food items (pretzels, egg rolls, chips, hummus, mini pizza). We only ordered two alcoholic drinks which were $15 each and so strong you couldn’t even drink it. If you ask for a drink without alcohol you are still charged the same amount. In total we paid $150 for bar “food” not including the tip and this was on top of the $120 we paid just to sit there for the “show” and seats. The show was probably the worst part of it all. I was extremely disappointed when I realized my $120 went down the drain as soon as the grinch came out an hour after we were seated. The grinch sang one song for 2 minutes and then spent the last 30 minutes taking pictures with people and then sang one other song for 2 minutes right at the end. You can NOT charge people $30 per person x 4 = $120 for a show and seats and then play 2 songs for 5 minutes. That’s absolutely insane and then to charge us $150 for food on top of it! We literally spent $300 last night for 4 people to eat bar finger foods and watch somebody dressed up in a grinch costume sing for legit 5 minutes. What a gimmick. I feel absolutely robbed. I will post photos because I essentially paid for the photos at this point because I guess this place is just for influencers to take pictures to show “look where I was during the holidays, while you weren’t” type vibe. So yes come here if you want to pay $300 for subpar bar food and pictures with the grinch and cute decor, but if you are expecting a show you will get 2 songs…

It is advertised as an "Intimate speakeasy/ lounge". It was the opposite of intimate, and definitely not any speak easy we've encountered. It was extremely busy and loud, with more than 25 people waiting to get on a mike to hone their craft as comics. This is also not like any comedy club we've experienced since the performers were walking in and out of the front door, talking and distracting each other.
The staff there were very nice and the food was surprisingly good, but it's a very dingy place and the seats were so uncomfortable. The food had to be eaten from a small, low coffee table rather than a table where you can eat comfortably. The bathroom was filthy. ?

A unique lounge & chill vibe!! We had a great time. The food, drinks, entertainment was amazing! A little small, but elegant. Service was okay but what bothered me the most was how bright the place was.. I was hoping they’d dim the lights a little cause it was really throwing off the vibe. Overall great experience- the BEST PART is the entrance , on point with the theme ?

It's actually a really nice little spot . went to celebrate my Birthday night . Really Enjoyed myself for the most part. When you first arrive there's a wall with a variety of door knobs in the entry way. If you're luck you'll find the correct Knob to enter . I love the chandeliers hanging from ceiling. The owner was very hospitable and greeted us as we arrived. I was a bit disappointed with the food choices . Was expecting a little bit more Flavors and variations. The quesadillas were a bit bland and there wasn't any sour cream available. The philly cheese steak dumplings were actually pretty good .I didn't like that when we asked for some utensils, we were only brought 1 set , we were a group of 4 in total (were we supposed to share 1 fork &knife ) Also when I originally made reservations I called and asked about the pricing... I was under the impression that the menu would be priced for happy hour so long as we were there before 7pm ? We didnt recieve happy hour prices at all and we did arrive plenty before 7 pm ... Now I was given a complementary birthday drink , (wasn't that strong ) But this still made me happy . Its was very nice of the Hostess. We were also entertained by a small group of (amateur comedians) They were funny for the most part .Nice group of people. My party and I enjoyed a few laughs and overall Really enjoyed our night at the Alibi ! I would definitely go again. would like to assume the pandemic was the cause for the few discrepancies that I encountered. I would recommend this place and definitely would like to visit again. Thank You to the Alibi for making my Birthday night special. I had a nice time visiting and experiencing a new place I'd never been before.

What a fun place, the young man playing the guitar and singing was really good, the food good although the menu was not extensive, the drinks were tasty, prices reasonable, they need to hire more waitstaff

Good drinks but super overpriced for the quality of the menu. The only thing that separates the drinks here from any other bar or lounge is the option to have them smoked with a flavor however, on the menu it says they do it at the table but they did not. Over half the menu was unavailable because they were either out or a machine was broken. I had the sampler and nothing on there was even good enough to finish a whole piece of, the only thing on the menu that is tolerable was the bacon ranch pizza. The “Ma barker” was very good but was not worth the price. It should also be noted that I asked for my drink to be a virgin but they gave it to me with alcohol anyway, and the first time I ordered the drink it was not smoked either. The live entertainment was very good and the woman who was performing was extremely talented other than that I wouldn’t say there’s anything to make this speakeasy superior to any others especially with Charlotte right across the street.
