I have had trust issues with salons ever since I got bangs my freshman year of high school, but this experience wiped all of that away. I went in with a ton of damage from using box dyes. My hair was this ugly shade of copper and I wanted to get it lightened and blend it in with my natural hair color.

Cecy was my hair dresser and was incredibly detailed when it came to figuring out how to not only correct the color, but to highlight and blend everything to match with my roots. I couldn't be happier and absolutely recommend this place! Ask for Cecy!

Linda Funda did an amazing job with my hair. I did highlights and full hair color balayage. My white hair was gone. The color was even!!!! I couldn’t believe how my hair turned out this beautiful! I’m ready for fall y’all!!!!! Also, the staff there from the receptionist (Gabi) and everyone that works there were really really nice. They even offered me wine and water during your treatment. All of them were so nice!

I stumbled upon this salon on google as I was looking for a nearby salon for a last minute appointment. I was able to make an appointment for the following day very easily with the front desk. Very pleasant. I think my interactions with all staff members were pleasant and professional. I was pleased with the engagement.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the work of my stylist. I handpicked her based off the raving reviews on here but expectations fell short. I spent $300 plus tip for a full head single process color and haircut. The color came out fine. I wasn’t in love when I left but I also didn’t ask for anything drastic- A v shape with layers. I didn’t analyze my hair until a few days later after I washed my hair and was able to visualize the shape and cut. My ends look like they were cut by me. It’s very choppy and has no consistent flow. My friends also said the same thing. For $300 in the UES, I expected better. Fairly disappointed. Wouldn’t go back.

Davida Salon was very accommodating and I was able to book an appointment quickly which is satisfying. It was my first time visiting this salon and I selected Acya based on her ability to make the balayage seamless. She did a beautiful job!!! I asked for a subtle brunette balayage with dimension but that flows naturally with my very dark brown hair.

This treatment included K18, cool brunette balayage, added gloss and blow dry. Including some before and after photos for reference. Unfortunately the weather was so rainy/humid my beautiful blow dry fell flat & frizzed up right after i left. Besides this minor frustration it was an amazing experience and a perfect color job. Next time i’ll specify a strong anti humidity product to help the style last. Its my bad, i know what works well but was too excited for once to think of f’ing nature. No matter what I’ll definitely be back and go see Acya she’s very talented, a true artist?
