I’ll admit we didn’t eat here but people who got food, looked like big portions. Really good vibe. Good drinks. Bartenders were ultra friendly. A bunch of tvs behind the bar so could watch some college football. A place if we weren’t going to dinner somewhere else, we would have hung around for a while.

Update: we went back the next day for food. Got some burgers on their specials menu that were really good plus charred buffalo wings. Guy next to me guy a gyro special that looked solid. One of my favorite spots on the trip.

Cool, chill spot. I actually really enjoyed it. The patio was fire, everyone seemed to be nice except for my waitress/server.

It was enough that I wouldn’t want to see her if I went back. I mean, everyone has there days but made us feel so annoyed for being there.

Other than that, food was delicious. Just burgers, fries and a veggie hash. I would absolutely go back though.

Half Sour is a bar located in downtown Chicago. They have a lot of options on their menu to choose from which is appreciated. I ordered the cheese curds and the chicken sandwich. The cheese curds were really crunchy and very tasty. The chicken sandwich was alright I would’ve preferred more lettuce on it. The fries could’ve been fresher they were kinda cold and some were hard. Our server was very nice and answered all of our questions about the menu. Even when a guest in our party was displeased with their food and somewhat rude about it she kept her cool and just took it back. I would recommend visiting them if you are looking for delicious late night bites in Chicago.

I recently had breakfast at Half Sour, and it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a menu that offers a variety of tasty options to satisfy any breakfast craving. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a morning meal.
However, I do wish they had an espresso machine. While the brewed coffee was good, having the option for espresso-based drinks would enhance the experience even more. Despite this minor drawback, Half Sour is definitely worth a visit for a delicious breakfast.

Good food but the server was inattentive. We didn’t get any refills on drinks, one person received the wrong drink and the server never checked on us. The lox bagel was delicious. Very annoyed with the 3% surcharge. If you love your staff so much then just give them healthcare options.

The food was fabulous. The draft beer (Revolution Eugene Porter) was great. Our server (Sierra) was friendly and attentive. We before noon, and the customers kept coming in, so this is definitely a desired eatery. Located on the first floor. Outdoor seating is available on our visit: 13 Apr 2024

Great BLT. Decent beer and cocktail selection. Nice amount of outdoor dining space. Bar seating is slightly uncomfortable (short overhang). Staff was a bit slow on drinks but friendly.
