Small and hidden bar with an intimate atmosphere. Japanese inspired menu, including cocktails aged in Kame pots. The drinks were well-balanced, with subtle and interesting flavours. Some of the flavours could have been a little more pronounced in a couple of the drinks.

I found this bar on instagram and since my boyfriend and I are craft cocktail fans we had to check it out.

Every drink we had (5 drinks per person) tasted and looked great! The bartenders, Diego and Eugene puts so much thought and craftsmanship in each cocktail. The Japanese inspiration in the drinks does not go unnoticed. The flavor tones, ingredients and type of alcohol were all very well balanced.

Being a Japanese inspired bar, the drinks were not gimmicky and each explanation behind a drinks inspiration were creative and thoughtful to the Japanese culture and flavors.

Diego and Eugene were also great to talk too. Personable and very knowledgeable with the bar scene in Berlin.

Definitely a bar I would come back to the next time I’m in Berlin and would recommend everyone to go.

The drinks Diego and Eugene are thinking about making in the future sound and taste amazing!

Love this speakeasy bar!
If you want to try something special this is the place.
Petit place, so cozy and hiding from the noisy exterior.
The service is personalized by the bartender, Diego, who takes care that every detail is perfect, ask and guide you through it.
Don’t expect to have a “fast food” service as everything is being done at the moment and the very original cocktails arrive with a detail that will tell you something about it. But it worthy every second. Each one is plan to match the Japanese culture, that you can found at the name and in little details behind the bar.
Definitely a full experience that at least you need to try once, if you don’t need to repeat as you are ask to stay only for a couple of hours so someone can try it too.
I’m coming back for sure.

Отличное место… лёд почти как в lost in translation. В Берлине/Германти вообще-то низкий уровень всего, но коктейли очень хорошие, бармен отличный.

Touri Hype. Sehr viel erwartet leider nur Durchschnittlich für Berlin. Es gibt deutlich bessere Bars. Hier wird versucht auf hip zu machen aber man ist komplett überfordert. Auf unsere Drinks haben wir eine ganze Stunde gewartet. Mit 3 Schlücken waren sie leer. Das Ambiente: nicht vorhanden. Was das mit Japan zu tun hat? Keine Ahnung. Fazit: nicht jeder Instagram Geheimtipp ist auch den Hype wert. Die Drinks waren ok, deshalb 3 statt 1 Stern.

Eine der, wenn nicht sogar DIE beste bar in Berlin. Super liebe Bar-keeper mit unendlich viel Charisma. Wir waren bereits schon öfter hier und haben es sehr genossen. Es wird auf jede Frage eingegangen und es wird immer wieder Wasser + Nüsse nachgefüllt. Natürlich wartet man hier und da mal ein paar Minuten auf einen Drink, aber bei 2 bar keepern die sich um die Gäste kümmern und gleichzeitig Drinks machen ist das total ok. Vorallem durch das Charisma und das Ambiente ist das definitiv zu verzeihen. Eine Riesen Empfehlung für alle die Alkohol genießen wollen!
