Excellent experience! I love my new look! Jeshi did an amazing job with my balayage and cut. I’m so happy and would recommend 100%. Their attention is superior; they really listen to what you want and deliver exactly the results you expect. Love it, love it—definitely will be back!

I had an incredible experience at One Salon with Arsen!! I have been barraged by nonstop compliments since I stepped foot out their door!!
I found them on Instagram almost two years ago, and this is my second visit. I got a half head of balayage about 1 year ago, then came back this time for a full head of balayage. The results are jaw dropping, and even more gorgeous than the photo I brought with me!
I was upfront about my budget, and Arsen was very easy to speak to about what we could do. He also did an excellent job communicating the next steps during the service; and making honest recommendations for what I needed or didn’t need.
I really like their method for balayage also. They use a blow dryer to separate the shorter / longer hairs for a natural looking highlight / lowlight, without needing to back comb. I’m also so impressed with how well the bleaching was timed on my very thick head of hair — I have a perfectly even lift all the way around and not one piece of gold or over-processed hair!!
Going blonde takes time, so I spent quite a a few hours here, during which I also saw so many happy repeat clients come in, and a very genuine camaraderie between all of his staff! Jessica washed my hair, and Laura did my shadow root — and both of them were equally lovely and great listeners to my feedback during the service.
Highly recommend getting balayage hair coloring from this NYC hair stylist salon!!! I will absolutely be back!!

My experience was absolutely heartbreaking. I have given this a lot of time (7/16) before posting, but in the end, I decided that I do not want this to happen to anybody else.
This hair appointment was a special treat for my upcoming wedding. I always take great care with my hair—I cannot stand unhealthy, frizzy hair. For the past years, I have only air-dried my hair and never used products on it. I am blessed with straight hair that, when cut by a professional, falls just right and does not require additional attention.
When I booked this appointment with Arsen, I was told that I would have an appointment with a Master cutter and colorist. Given Arsen's Instagram posts and him being the owner, I fully trusted this statement. After paying a deposit via Zelle to secure the appointment, I was looking forward to the experience.
Jhese (Jessie) was this "master" hair cutter. When he got to me, he didn't even say hello or introduce himself; he just started with, "So what are you looking to get done?" I introduced myself and showed him photos of my hair done in the past, explaining that I wanted a similar result using the balayage method.
Once Jhese (Jessie) started to work on my hair, I was surprised as he used a hairdryer to separate the strands before slathering on the bleach. He then proceeded to matte my hair with a comb. I asked him about this method, and he said some people separate with a comb but that he believed in working smarter, not harder.
In hindsight, I really should have gotten up and left, but I trusted the process, and I had already paid a significant deposit. Things only got worse from there. An hour into this process, he had not yet reached the front of my head, and it dawned on me that the back of my hair had been festering in thick bleach for far longer than it should.
Once he finished with the front, he put me under a heater. After that, he slathered on toner or color—I'm not sure which—between the foil layers and let that sit. I say "slather" because he used a huge wide brush, and the liquid was flying all over the place. After it was washed out, he attempted to brush my hair with a completely nasty (dirt-layered) and clearly unsanitary brush. My hair was so matted that he used a lot of force, and I almost had to beg him to be gentler to avoid further damage to my freshly abused, bleached hair. I pointed out a huge wad of hair sticking out of the brush, and Jhese very nonchalantly said that we have over 3 million hairs on our head and lose hair every day.
By this time, I was beyond dejected. Next was my haircut. I offered to blow-dry it myself if he had a hairdryer with cold air, but he said it would take too long. So my "master" haircut was done with dripping wet hair, and it was so poorly done that I could have done it myself.
After observing the abuse my hair had undergone, I asked him to add some sort of treatment to help fix my hair and reduce damage. I specifically asked for Kerastase and was willing to pay the extra $50. His assistant put a mix together, but it was another product. I pointed out that I wanted Kerastase, but he said the other was better and that was what I would get.
I ended up leaving the salon with my wet hair (no need to make matters worse by blow-drying it) in tears. The result was yellow, dry, straw-like hair, damaged so badly that I dare not do anything else to it except cut off the worst damage. I messaged Arsen on my way home, and he assured me that Jhese could fix it. Not in a million years was I ever going to let him touch my hair again. How can you fix fried hair? My hair is fried, and it will take years to grow it out.

I’m so glad I followed my friend’s recommendation to visit this salon—it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! I’ve been coloring my hair for over 10 years, and the balayage Samir did for me today is hands down the best color I’ve ever had. He took the time to listen to what I wanted, paying attention to every detail to ensure the result was exactly what I hoped for. Arsen oversaw the process, and his expertise clearly played a key role in the perfect outcome. The products they used are of excellent quality—my hair feels incredibly soft and smooth, even after the coloring, which is something I’ve never experienced before! Eden, the receptionist, was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable from the moment I walked in. The entire team was professional, friendly, and dedicated to giving me an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

For the first time I’ve had a long cut I love! Jhesi was attentive and gave me a gorgeous haircut exactly like I was looking for. It looked fabulous after he blew it out, and also after I washed it and let it curl. I’ve been hopping around salons for 2 years, but finally found a place I’d go back to!

My mom got a Balayage and a blow dry. It’s was great, the color came out amazing. The blow out came out nice and big, and my mom was very happy with her result.

If you asked me what left the deepest impression on me in New York, I would say it was a salon next to the Roosevelt Island Tramway station. After dinner, my husband experienced abdominal pain about 15 minutes later, likely due to an allergic reaction to something in the food. By then, we had already left the restaurant and taken the subway to the tram station near 60th Street, where my husband urgently needed to use the restroom. Although the salon’s receptionist initially said no, a gentleman who might have been the manager or owner, upon learning about the situation, kindly allowed us to use their restroom. Without his help, I believe my husband would have faced an embarrassing situation and continued abdominal pain. Although we don’t know the technical level of One Salon, their warm-heartedness suggests that they also provide excellent service to every customer. People with beautiful souls will undoubtedly create beautiful hairstyles.

I recently visited one Salon, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The stylist took the time to understand my vision and offered expert suggestions that completely transformed my look. The atmosphere was chic and inviting, making me feel pampered and relaxed. My hair has never looked better—smooth, shiny, and perfectly styled. I can't recommend One Salon enough for anyone looking for top-notch service and talent! My stylist was Jhesi!!!!!!
