Fantastic cocktail spot. They know what they are doing to make a finely crafted, exceptionally presented cocktail. The bar atmosphere is hipster chic with great décor and ambiance. The staff are extremely friendly too. If you want to escape the sugary, hand grenade experience of Bourbon street, make a stop here!

John, Gentry, and Chris were splendid hosts at the bar. Great drink recommendations, wonderful atmosphere. Just the right amount of attention to detail. John went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, or rather just like a local, he deserves a Michelin star.

I stopped in with some friends for a drink before an event. This place exceeded every expectation I had (and my expectations were high from the beginning). The drinks were all thoughtfully made and delicious. My favorite thing about this place though, was the staff. It’s nice to go into a bar and feel like you’re old friends with the staff. These folks made everyone who walked in feel that way. It wasn’t just one gregarious bartender-the whole team puts out the “you belong here” vibe. It made the whole experience super enjoyable. I will definitely go back.

This is by far the best cocktail bar we have visited in the French Quarter. We felt like we had gone back in time with the old/classy decor and atmosphere. The drinks were excellent and I hope to come back one day for a stay once it reopens as a hotel.

You would never believe, lounging in the courtyard next to the fountain, that this place is half a block off Bourbon Street. This beautiful little cocktail bar with its peaceful courtyard, is an oasis of calm in a busy city. That the oasis comes with absolutely delectable cocktails only makes it that much more delightful. We were there for several hours, quietly nursing a succession of drinks and talking, and honestly only left because we were tired.

Anything on the menu will be delightful, we particularly recommend the punch and the Irish coffee, but if you're just not feeling anything, ask the bartender for something special to suit the mood. I also had a Bijou (Oh yes, they still have Chartreuse) and a Corpse reviver, which were truly delightful and which went really well with the food from the Will and the Way next door (they'll deliver appetizers if you order off a specific spot of their menu). I will absolutely be back the next time in town.

Super nice bar with a very friendly staff and really good cocktails. There is a cute patio at the back with some tables and a small fountain.

Go up
