William was absolutely amazing!
He made my guy the best Old Fashion and my crown and coke was great.
William actually sat down and a whole conversation with us and for me that’s
top tier.
Shout out to Drew for training an awesome bartender. We will be back.

Went here for drinks after making online reservation. The bar is literally a very small room in what seems to be an office building . There were 2 tables with total capacity of 8 people in this bar with loud music and disco lights. In 40 minutes we spent there the bartender who was also the server came and asked us 5 times if we need another drink. Some of us were extremely claustrophobic in this sink hole. There are lot better bars all around and wood definitely try and avoid this one. Also , just drinks, no food, no finger food or even bar food

We had a great experience from the moment we walked in. I love the ambience and the customer service was pleasant. The drinks that the bartender, Andres, made were delicious. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a chill vibe.

We’re giving Room 520 3/5. The drinks were good and felt like they were made with care! Service was good!

The parts we weren’t impressed with was

1. The odd/uncomfortable seating selection. There’s really nowhere to sit in privacy here. Every grouping of chairs puts you in too close of proximity to another couple. I think they’re going for the eclectic vibe with the chairs but it just didn’t work well.

2. The lighting. There was a harsh neon sign that illuminated the whole room. However it was so bright it felt like you were in a hospital, not a speakeasy.

We don’t plan on visiting again, but would reconsider if they made some simple changes to the atmosphere.

Zo and team definitely have one of THE coolest spots to drink at in Dallas. Best drinks I’ve had by a long shot for speakeasies, and they have created an intimate space where you should bring dates, family members, and small groups. Give the whole menu a try because you’ll regret it not trying them all.

My fiancé and I have been eyeing this place for months and finally made it in for our anniversary and it did not disappoint.

We love trying new speakeasies around town. We were in the area so we thought we would go check it out. The downstairs bar is really nice and it was easy to get the code for the room upstairs. However, the bartender upstairs was really rude. I was telling him the type of drinks I like and he recommended one but it wasn’t good so I asked if I could swap it out. He got an instant attitude and was making my drink slamming stuff around. And pretty sure he made the second drink bad on purpose. We ended up paying for the drinks and leaving. Left the whole drink on the table. ‍♀ Was excited to take my friends here but with so many options in Dallas, def will take them to better places.

Overall, it felt like the bartender didn't want people there.
My girlfriend and I were celebrating her birthday and wanted to try a new speakeasy. The process of checking in, getting the code, and finding the room was fun and added to what I hoped the experience would entail.
When we got to the room, we were accosted with a weird techno version of the electric slide playing much louder than it needed to be for such an intimate space. I was hoping for jazz or ambient background noise at a whisper and what I got was blaring rave music in a room with no dance floor. The room size and lighting were on par with other premium lounges we’ve been to but the biggest turn off, at the time, was the loud music. I’d estimate the room could hold approximately 16 people; 12 comfortably.
There were no other guests when we arrived and we almost questioned if we went to the wrong room. We struggled to hear the bartender over the music but realized his first words to us were, “It’s a set menu.” It seemed slightly off-putting but I can understand that he might have been trying to prevent people from ordering drinks not on the menu. At most places we’ve been in the past it seemed customary for the bartender to greet people first or introduce themselves; at minimum, offer water while patrons decide what they want. With an empty room, I thought it would have been nice if he explained the taste profiles of the six drinks on the menu.
We both ordered the “Gion” and were less than pleased with the drink. The drink was finished using a cocktail smoker kit, which was not listed in the online description. I’m not sure if the wrong type of wood was used or if it was burned too long, but it left a pungent overpowering aftertaste. Smoke is generally meant to enhance a drink and add to the complexity; this made it much worse.
As other guests showed up, they seemed to experience the same confusion of deciding if they should sit and wait for service or walk up to the bartender. The volume of the music remained constantly obnoxious, as did the contrasting playlist of hip-hop meets techno. Two couples and a group of four friends walked in after we had our drinks. Not wanting to be the last two people in the room, I watched six people leave before deciding to follow suit. Of those who left, including us, no one went back for a second round of drinks.
Unfortunately, after the experience I had, I can’t refer any friends and family here. I suggest they add a couple of beer & wine choices for individuals who can’t find anything on the menu they want to drink. Maybe the bartender was having a bad day but he didn’t facilitate a pleasant experience. Hopefully this helps someone make an informed decision.
