Called Speake's on Monday for a non emergency plumbing problem. I asked if they could come out Tuesday. Travis called Tuesday morning said they were on their way. Lucas and Jacob were very punctual and professional. Unclogged my drain at the tee and reworked the kitchen drain pipes. They were cordial and respectful and got the job done quickly! 10/4/24: My ten year old water heater gave out and I called Speake's Plumbing and spoke with Travis. I explained what happened and he explained the costs to remove and replace the water heater. I was fortunate enough that Travis was able to arrange for a crew to come out within the hour. Thomas and Trevor were awesome. After a minor mishap, in which the City Of Garland had to come out (inside of an hour) and replace the main shut off valve, the water heater replacement went great. Although the water heater was located in the attic, Thomas and Trevor were very professional and friendly throughout the process. Thomas even installed a hot and cold water shut off to the water heater. I have recommended Speake's Plumbing to anyone needing quality plumbing work done, as they were recommended to me years ago. I am extremely satisfied with the work Thomas and Trevor did. They were timely, efficient, laid down floor covering. and most important of all, respectful.

12/20/19: I decided to upgrade my 25 year old toilet in the guest bathroom, and Rusty arranged an appointment within the week. He gave me a time frame of 8-10 am. The day prior I received a call to confirm the appointment, and on the scheduled date, Rusty called to advise that the plumber would arrive at 8 am. I went to purchase the toilet that morning, and met Daniel at home, who was very courteous and knowledgeable. He had to change the flange to the toilet due to age, then he upgraded the handle and water line. He was very thorough, explained what and why he was doing it, and did a great job of cleaning up after himself. This is my second great experience with Speake's, and I'm very grateful to my neighbor who referred me to them.

I would recommend Speake's Plumbing to anyone needing quality plumbing work done. I am very satisfied with the work Roy came out to do. He was timely, efficient and most important of all respectful. He replaced old busted metal pipes under my kitchen sink and installed a new disposal that I purchased. I don't wish plumbing issues on anyone but working with Speake's Plumbing honestly makes me want to call them out again! Thank you

I appreciate that, not only is Speake's Plumbing a local, family-owned operation, but the fact that the owner answered the phone when I called, instead of a PBX (or whatever it is today). I got my questions answered on a Saturday, two plumbers arrived 1st thing Monday AM, and my two non-emergency issues were remedied promptly. The price seemed a little high, but I was told upfront the trip charge and I knew that the more services I requested in the same visit, the less each would cost. The plumbers were cordial and professional, they protected my messy bathroom from any water/debris with a plastic dropcloth, and they took the time to answer more questions concerning a potential remodel. And my new faucet (purchased ahead of time) doesn't drip and looks fabulous! Will definitely use again.

Everyone I spoke with or worked with was nice.
They unclogged my A/C condensate drain.
Then they removed the old water heater and
installed a new water heater with flood stop.
The technicians did an excellent job of explaining
what they had done and what I needed to do as
follow up.
Their prices are reasonable.

I've used Speake's for a number of years. This week they installed a new bathtub and faucet. Jake and Max were hard workers who did a wonderful job. They checked everything to make sure there were no leaks and everything was installed properly.

My home warranty company originally sent out an awful company to replace my hot water heater. Speake's was recommended to me by my mother-in-law who has used them for years and I am glad I listened. I paid out of my pocket 3 times what my warranty wanted to pay but it was worth every penny. Got the brand water heater I wanted and they got it from the warehouse in 1 day which shocked me since we have a less common style tank. Communication was great, always called me back promptly and kept me informed. Roy and Quincy came out to do the install and were awesome. Super friendly guys, honest and knowledgeable. I caught myself wanting to hang out in the garage talking to them and watching them do the work cause they were so good. Super clean install, made it look better than the original install by running the t&p line better than original. I had to leave before they finished but came home to hot water and my garage cleaner than when they started. I will always use Speake's for any future plumbing needs.
