Went here on a limb with my friend and had a wonderful experience. Eric, our waiter was so kind, attentive, and authentic. He was honest about menu items we asked his opinion on, gave great suggestions, and always was sure to check on us. The woman manager came over a few times as well to make sure everything was good and was very polite and professional. The atmosphere was vibey and fun, but still open and laid back. It was the perfect combination of casual and fancy (very much “come as you are” vibes). Both the food and cocktails were delicious. Our favorites were their take on an espresso martini and the pesto goat cheese dip. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

I wish I could give it 5+ stars! This place was pretty awesome. We came there for drinks that looked great on videos, but were they really?
Yes!!
That espresso martini was everything it promised and some! The cream ice cube is what makes it unique, but it would be delicious even without it.
The real surprise was food. Seriously THE BEST SPICY CHICKEN PANINI I've had in my life. So good that I wanted to take 5 to go to eat every day next week. Cuban one was pretty good as well.
1000% will return and often.
Also, chatting with Mark was an unexpected bonus. He is a great bartender and a photographer.

My date and I happened to stop by here based on the Google reviews. We were specifically seeking a great espresso martini.

We walked in and sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by Mark the bartender. He showed us the cocktail and food menu. I love that the menu is limited. They have a variety of small bite options that take "bar food" to the next level. Thank you Chuck the chef!

We tried the short rib bites, ahi tuna bowl, wedge salad, and focaccia spread plates. The short ribs were delectably tender. The ahi tuna had a perfect spicy kick to it. We absolutely loved all of the sauces that came with the focaccia plate.

With all of this food we had the best espresso martinis. The martini is served with a sphere of frozen cream. We learned that Mark actually created some of the cocktails on the menu such as: track 61, cloak and clove, and the golden ratio. We tried track 61 and cloak and clove. Track 61 uses a rye liquor and a 2:1 ratio. All of marks drinks are STIFF. Cloak and clove uses gin which is much lighter and refreshing.

Mark made the experience incredible and memorable. It was full of laughs and a good time. We ended up spending over 4 hours here chatting about bartending, careers, mixology, and life in charlotte. I would come back here just to chat with Mark and grab a Lunar Leap.

10/10 would recommend coming to The Conspiracy.

This place is seriously stellar, and not just for Charlotte.
We stopped by to check it out, shocked that we hadn't heard of it. Only because I feel it's relevant, we are both Nationally/Globally ranked and recognized bartenders.
The drinks were STELLAR. The Halley's Hollow, and Itza may be 2 of the best in the city. The Spirit 17 was one of the only cocktails I've had to truly showcase cherry blossom.
The food. Wow. Everything we got was amazing. We're coming back to try the whole menu.
The service was amazing. Thank you Bethany and Mark for an amazing night!

I came to have a cocktail and they did not disappoint! Mark made the drinks and they were delicious, super well balanced! I also ordered the braised short rib that has a cauliflower purée underneath. I would order it again, because it was tender! However, I wish it had more depth in flavor. It had dim lights, a low-key vibe that would be great for a date night or to relax, and knowledgeable staff! Definitely a place to check out!

I always have a great experience here. Bartenders are amazing. Drinks are always on point and well crafted. Must try the food! My favorite are the short rib bites, but the Mac n cheese and chacuterie boards are great. The whipped pesto goat cheese dip is spectacular!

Decided to walk in on a whim and glad we did!! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you walk in it’s so cute! Plenty of seating options. We chose to hangout on the couch/lounge area which made for a relaxing evening sipping on cocktails. The cocktail menu is not super huge and if you are picky then you probably won’t like what’s on the menu. We ordered from the menu to try it out then had the bartender whipped us up something “fresh, fruity and fun” which was amazing! We got the spiced nuts to share with the group which paired well with the drinks. My husband got the Nevermore which he loved! Our waiter was top notch and even took a few group photos for us!

Steve was AMAZING, drinks were fantastic, and ladies: order the Lost in Triangulation if Steve is your server. We also very much enjoyed the Lunar Leap (pictured), Cat in the Grass and Spirit 17! Thanks to Steve- he does a great job! Tell him to slap that ice!!!
