Called in for a drink, there wasn't even any background music, it wasn't a nice pint and it wasn't the cheapest either. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there.

Me and my boyfriend walked into the nightclub and my boyfriend accidentally brushed shoulders with the owner, as it was packed and could barely move. The owner then grabbed my boyfriend. My boyfriend said what’s that’s for and the owner grabbed his collar shouting for him to get out, as he assumed my boyfriend pushed him, which wasn’t the case. To react like that over something minor was extreme, especially from the owner. That’s not a way to treat people who are locals and giving your business money.

Very odd that this place would allow a man in to the women's toilet as he identified as 'binary', if indeed the place allowed him at all. He was flashing his 'breasts' and went unopposed by the women in there. This made for a VERY uncomfortable toilet visit and i feel sets a very unsafe tone for future visits.

Food is good. Men's toilets are AWFUL. You can't charge up to £65 for a steak and have toilets that smell like that.... Would put me off going again. Mentioned to a staff member and they said they have been telling the owner and they wished he was there. Please listen to your staff.

We just popped in for an appetiser and a glass of wine, before heading elsewhere for dinner.
We ordered fresh oysters in ponzu sauce, and they were excellent.
A glass of nice Chardonnay washed them down nicely.
If it wasn't for pieces of shell that we had to fish back out of our mouth it would've been five star experience.
Service was timely and attentive. Having said that, if you are not keen on your glass being constantly re-filled, a bit too attentive. But, we found that in quite a few eateries on Jersey cultivate that old school kind of service - probably planty of clientele who like being constantly attended to.
